FEST is going green!
For the 2026 edition of FEST, we are committed to sustainability and try our best to reduce our environmental footprint. 🌍
Here’s how we’re making FEST more sustainable:
Food & Drinks 🥬
- All food and drinks at FEST are 100% vegetarian or vegan.
- We work with regional and local producers, using ingredients that are organic and – wherever possible – fair trade certified.
- We do not use any single-use materials. Instead, we are opting for reusable plates, cutlery and cups.
- To prevent unnecessary waste, we make sure not to prepare too much food.
Materials & Waste Reduction ♻
- All waste is carefully separated and recycled, so that residual waste is kept to an absolute minimum.
- Participants use reusable lanyards and passes, which will be collected and repurposed for future events.
Communication & Materials 📢
- Our advertising is largely paperless, relying on social media and digital communication.
- When printing is necessary, e.g. for posters, flyers and evening tickets, we use recycled paper.
Getting to the Venue 🚌
- FEST takes place at the Rotondes, very centrally, right between the central station (Gare) and Bonnevoie – and is directly connected to Luxembourg’s bus, tram, and train network.
- Bike parking is available on site, so cycling is also a great option.
- We strongly encourage everyone to come by public transport or bike. Plan your journey here: www.mobiliteit.lu.
A Collective Effort 🤝🏻
A huge thank you goes out to the Rotondes, Oekozenter Pafendall, our partners and our team of volunteers, who make it possible for us to put these green principles into practice.
